I recognize Daeron so far. Now to see who else turns up. Sounds as if this guy is far too much into expediency! Maybe he needs to be deposed!

Holy Elbereth, this has to be one of the best Middle-earth/Real World/Christianity fusions I have ever read. Honestly most of the power came from the sheer novelty and creepiness of the Herod/Santa idea, but the touches of elves and wizards were also lovely. What a nice throwback to the old Christmas tradition of ghost stories! Author Reply: Thanks for the review, Celeritas. We have a good tradition of ghost stories here in Scotland, but much of the inspiration from this one came from Charles Causley's poem. Its been put to music and I have a great version but the British folk duo Show of Hands. All the best for 2010! Dadgad

Wow! Powerful and amusing, dark and yet hopeful at the same time. I had no trouble spotting the familiar characters, but I have to say, I loved the hinted-at identity of the Wise ones... This was just marvelous, and it should be a lesson to some-- who would probably not listen. Author Reply: Thanks for the review, Dreamflower. Lets hope the right people listen to the right things in 2010. best regards, Dadgad.
