Finally--some time to read and comment! A wonderful first meeting, and love the thought here, too, that Thorongil might just prove a half-brother to Denethor--yes, an excellent reason for Denethor to distrust the man! Love the descriptions given, and the plan is wonderful! Now, to execute it! Author Reply: I thought that a believable scenario, glad you did. LBJ

I like reading about a younger Imrahil here and especially enjoy his easy rapport with Thorongil and with a younger Sergion. I'm looking forward to more action in the next chapter. Author Reply: The action starts in the next chapter and continues for a few more - so I hope you enjoy, Thanks for taking the time to review. LBJ

I like the spirit Imrahil shows here, and the self-awareness. And he's shrewd, which is good. It can be difficult to write two strong characters in the same story without shorting one of them, but this is nicely done. Author Reply: Thanks - there will be more about Imrahil but I hope I have done justice to Thorongil as well. I always write my grown up Imrhails much the same - enigmatic and strong, so I had to reflect that for his youth. LBJ
