Somehow I missed posting a review when this was posted. Oh dear. Pippin certainly is planning something risky, I think. Frodo's reaction to having to write an invitation for Yew was interesting. Yew could have quite a feast where he's going if the people are ignorant of dragons. Hmmm.

Well, at first I was a little confused. But then I read this: As usual, Pippin had started somewhere in the middle of his tale. And everything was clear again. LOL! The ideas Pippin comes up with, are sometimes amazing - but always logical! Of course, Yew waits for an invitation. And now he will get one in Gold! Wonderful! But what are Gandalf's plans? I'm looking forward to reading more! Author Reply: Yes, the dear lad (and many children for that matter) usually starts part way into his thoughts. I'm glad all became clear. More will be coming, just not sure when. Thank you so much, Andrea!

And trust Pippin to feel that Yew deserves his own invitation. The use of the gold ink should help assuage any feelings of guilt, at least. And I still think that perhaps this is why the folk of China tend to consider dragons good luck instead of being calamities! Heh! Author Reply: It is an interesting distinction in the two hemispheres. Pippin does usually seem sensitive to the feelings of others. He's a good lad! Thank you so much, Larner!
