Finally getting to this, my dear cousin and apologies for it taking so long. Won't say much here because I will be nominating it and you can't repeat your praise there that is here so... If I recall correctly on the books on the movie said Legolas was near to 3000 at the time of the War of the Ring. Namarie, God bless, your bloom and berry :) Author Reply: Hello, m'dear! 3,000, eh? Where did you find that? *peers across the pond eagerly* I couldn't find any indication of his age anywhere :( Oh, well. Too late to change it now, given I've made him 1,000, and it's now an intrinsic part of the story *sniffle* I was just about to rush off an e-mail to you to let you know that Dreamflower's already nominated 'Hobbit Stew' (bless her) and I didn't want you to lose your nomination - but I checked my MEFA account and see I am already too late. So sorry, m'dear. But I thank you most heartily. You are better to me than I deserve, methinks. Thank you for R & R-ing, my little Took bloom, Cousin Mac :o)

Oh, no! The *horn* was Valaróma? LOL!!! Poor Bilbo. Apparently he did not know Murphy's Law ;-) Otherwise he would not have chosen the horn as his hiding place. At least there is one positive aspect of Bilbo's situation: No matter what happens next, there is definitely NO respectable hobbit around to witness it! Author Reply: Hello Andrea, How very true. Whether Bilbo ends up shoving himself head-first into that pot, the only honnit who'll ever know of his disgrace is himself (and it probably won't bother him too much, either!!) Don't think hobbit's have Murphy's Law (haha, loved that). But as of today, they very well might have Baggin's Law! Glad you enjoyed Bilbo's latest misadventure! Thanks for R & R-ing, M :)

Oh, this is too funny. Can't wait for the next chapter! Poor Bilbo! ::giggling:: Author Reply: Hello dshael, glad you're having a good laugh. Poor Bilbo, indeed. It's looking ever more unlikely that he'll get his hands on (or lips round) that pot of stew ... Thanks for the lovely feedback, m'dear, M :)

This is proving SO delightful! I am impressed! Author Reply: Hello Larner, wow! I'm ecstatic that you like 'Hobbit Stew' so much. I really am!! I only hope you enjoy Bilbo's resolution to his problems (which are manifold) as much as you've enjoyed his misadventures so far :) Thanks very much for R & R-ing, M :o)

Oh, this is so much fun! I love Bilbo's desperate obsession with that pot of stew! And what a hiding place he'd found. I had a hunch as soon as he'd climbed up there that it would turn out to be an inconveniet spot! Dear me! What next? *peers hopefully* Author Reply: Hello Dreamflower, *giggles in delight* Oh, I'm so glad you're enjoying Bilbo's misadventures! Poor little hobbit! Trust him to pick the only hiding place that would become the centre of attention shortly afterwards. So much for his stew ... Unless he comes up with a cunning plan to beat the odds (which are massive). Thank you SO much for the MEFA nomination for 'Hobbit Stew'! Not in my wildest dreams (and, trust me, they are very wild) did I think that Bilbo's Mirkwood gapfiller would earn such an accolade! Thanks for R & R-ing, M :)

how civilised could they be, if they kept their dining room so far away from the kitchen? LOL, a good question indeed! This is wonderfully hobbity. I look forward to the conclusion. Author Reply: Hello shirebound, 'wonderfully hobbity', eh? *blush* Thanks very much! That's quite a compliment. I'm chuffed to bits that you're enjoying the Mirkwood madness so much! Thanks for R & R-ing, m'dear, M :)
