The reunion was so real! I love your writing so much!

This is delightful. I can quite see that the twins found the attentions of all those who were so pleased to see them rather stifling, and can understand them seeking an escape. I really liked them meeting Earendil for the first time. Jay

Rhyselle! Well done, meldanya! I think you captured the feelings of the Peredhil twins perfectly; my favorite moments were when they met Gandalf there, now Olorin, but still Gandalf even so...and also when they met Earendil! YAY! I cheered very loudly at that...good thing I'm alone in the house, no one to call me insane! :) I wonder if Earendil and Elwing will have further adventures with their grandsons...particularly if Earendil will! So well done! I'm definitely looking forward to more, if the Muse agrees! Tye-melin, dear friend! Kaylee

Thanks for a beautiful story. I think they both sailed and I think you captured what could have happened.

What a beautiful glimpse of the twins' homecoming. I can well imagine Elrond and Celebrian nearly smothering them with their joy, since they could never have been sure their sons would choose the way of the Eldar. I also like that you brought Olorin and Earendil into the story. What a sight that must be, seeing Vingilot come to berth. A lovely story, all the way around.

Beautifully written, as are all of your stories. Very poignant with the kind of ending all starry-eyed romantics want to read. All in all a lovely depiction of what might have happened when two hardbitten warriors arrive in the Elven version of paradise. I do wonder however if, after all the time these two spent watching those whom they loved and stayed in Middle-earth for wither and eventually die. And I doubt that they would have shaken off the notion that they had somehow deserted Middle-earth so swiftly. I think Earendil would have played a huge part in helping them come to terms with their feelings and losses though, perhaps even more so than their father Elrond. Earendil didn't really want to be counted among the Eldar, he accepted that fate because he wanted to remain with Elwing. As lovely, sweet and satisfying as your depiction of events is, I think it would have taken rather longer for the sons of Elrond to throw off their feelings and be completely at home. I personally think they would have had a harder road to hoe within themselves. I think they might have even felt a deep resentment at first to see the bliss in which those in Aman lived, especially when they would have fully realised that despite Elessar and Arwen and their descendant being in charge of the Reunited Lands, there was still much suffering and hardship in a place that the Valar had finally washed their hands of. Just my thoughts of course, which do not detract from a charming group of well written drabbles.

Those are lovely - it is always a pleasure to read stories where the twins finally make it - and I am sure their parents would tend to overwhelm them with love to start with.

A perfect homecoming for them! To finally meet their paternal grandfather! Hooray! And that last scene is so idyllic!

This is absolutely brilliant. You start the story by portraiting Elladan as the type of person that I see totally fit his character. Probably I did read a lot of the twins stories that make me in a way share the twins' tiring minds since the day their mother was captured... I really do sense the feeling of home when Earendil appeared. I am also glad that Elladan can finally find his peace after all this years. Oh my, I really want to read more of your stories about Elladan. Well done!
