Love the love of the brothers such a sweet friendship

Author Reply: I love Tolkien's way of saying how much they meant to each other.

You're comment means much to me. Thank you!

Another exciting story to look forward to reading. When DO you find the time?

Great job of depicting the closeness of the brothers and the great love they have for each other.

Author Reply: Ah, Tari, I don't think this is going anywhere - tho it might. I'm writing another tale (not posted here) and still working on the book.

I do so love writing the brothers *heavy sigh*

I love the determination and courage the two boys show, as well as their mutual love and lyalty. Excellent!

Author Reply: Hooray! Glad that all came through!

I love the term 'interdependence' - it seems to so fit these two!

Bless you for your kind words!

Good one! Nice! And thanks for the link; I taught a nature school where we did a pioneer survival week and showed the kids how to use flint-steel (actually, a magnesium rod) and also the bow-socket method (AKA: rubbin' two sticks together - it's a little more complex than just two sticks). Flint is much faster and easier, but still challenging, especially if you're hungry, things are wet, or you really NEED that fire!

Author Reply: I remember watching someone trying the bow-socket method - hideous. So time-consuming, back-breaking, and potentially frustrating. It seems one really needs nerves of steel to try to light a fire that way.

Thankfully, Boromir keeps a kit in his tunic! Fortunate for both of them!

Bless you and thanks for the comment!

I really like this story, everything is perfectly described - their efforts (especially Boromir's), as well as their bond and love. And I so sympathized with them - this was a very difficult situation, they were injured and in pain... poor boys. :( It was a relief when they were finally saved.

P.S. Yes, I agree, research is really a good part of writing. :)

Author Reply: I was relieved when they were saved too! I never know where the Muse is going to take me - she was kind this day! To me and to the brothers 'Mir...

Thanks for reading and especially for commenting. Most appreciated.
