Elliska, for some reason I missed this story. I'm so happy that you have decided to post, I really miss the old time when we have so many good fanfics and authors posting. I was even sad reading the reviews, because I can see some of my favorite authors commenting and not stories from them. Back to your story, wonderful, what a brave kids they are. So good to see all of them again, includng Aradunnon (I haven't forgive you yet for killing him) I'll looking for you update next weekend. Thank you Author Reply: I totally agree! I miss having good stories to distract me from boring work! ;-) I'm glad you enjoyed. I liked posting story because it gave me a chance to revisit Aradunnon! Thanks do much for the review! I really appreciate them.

ooof. Galithil is a magent for trouble, even when he swears he won't :-) Poor parents, they do have their hands full with getting these elflings into adulthood! Author Reply: Yeah, he and everyone else just need to accept that causing trouble is in his blood! ;-) Life is easier once you accept the inevitable. Thanks so much for the review! I really appreciate them!

Poor Aradunnon. I suppose this is neither the first nor the last time he'll sense trouble from Galithil's direction. But then, like father, like son. We've had flooding my neck of the woods this week, so I really sympathize with how powerfully that river is fighting Legolas's efforts to steer. I have to say I was tempted to scroll down when he kept being unable to spot Galithil. Berior does well here, coming across as cool-headed and strong once they get to the tree. I really like seeing how strong and brave these kids are even at this age. Berior was also safe, stuck to a branch like a bear cub stuck in a tree Nice image. Author Reply: No, I imagine Aradunnon got used to that before the end, poor elf! And you are exactly right. I saw your flooding in the news. That sort of thing is always so distressing. So many poor people losing so much. I remember when I wrote this, I had read an article for heaven only knows what reason about how people caught in rip currents at the beach react (and how they should react). It was what inspired this story. It was scary. These kids really do handle this well. Glad you liked that image. And the chapter. Thanks so much for the review. I appreciate them so much!
