| It's about time Intarion stood up to his father. Good for him. It's always hard to understand how a parent can treat their child this way, or worse yet, disown them. Sibling rivalry is nothing new, but the twins seem more than able to work out thier diferrences. It will be interesting to see which one accepts their father's offer, and how the decision was made. Author Reply: Hi Tari. Marrying Lirulin has given Intarion an incentive to stand up to his father. *grin* We will see how the twins decide who will go to Tirion and who will stay in the next chapter. | I think Intarion has the right idea about Ingoldo leaving the Privy Council, that ellon would do anything to cause trouble, even going so far as to giving up his council seat. Devious son of a gun!(or should that be bow?) Poor Ingalure, he is having a hard time of it isn't he. I wonder if Ingwe could think of something to put him in charge of to give him purpose. The Twins are still coming across as somewhat imature to me. Pity Ingwe does not have a standing army he could stick them both in as commanders or something. I know he has a Palace Guard, but it is not quite the same thing. Maybe the Twins could trade off on who goes to Tirion and who sits on the council? Huggs, Lynda Author Reply: Hi Lynda. Well, when you have all of the Ages of Arda in which to grow up.... I guess you're bound to be somewhat immature especially if nothing happens to make you grow up. | Argh, got cut off! I meant to say more than that! Lol...I meant, I hope Ingoldo's plan, whatever it is, gets squished by Ingwe, and that someone slaps them for his and Tinwetariel's comments to Intarion..."when did you grow a backbone" indeed :( comments like that HURT, what a son of Morgoth, I should know! *glares at Ingoldo* Tye-melin tenn'ambar-Metta, Atto! Kaylee Author Reply: As for Ingoldo's plans.... well, that's what this story is all about and we'll see how they go. Ingoldo and Tinwetariel are unusual in their treatment of their son, for Elves are notorious for being loving and caring for their children, but I suspect their animosity towards Intarion came only when he reached adulthood and did not follow Ingoldo into government as he wanted but went his own way. | Oh, it's definitely good that they will be able to have fun "like old times", Atto, I think they'll need it! Dark times seem to be coming...and poor, poor Ingil, with such a case of "they don't care because I'm the spare" hanging over him...I'm so glad Ingwi and their Atto were there to reassure him! I hope things improve for the twins, Indil, and especially Intarion...oh, having an atto who's that unreasonable...well let's just say I understand Intarion a little too well and I'm glad I have you for an atar indonyo!!!!!!! Seems like Intarion has an atar indonyo in Lirulin's atto as well, so good for him. :) Hopefully it will all come out as well as possible for now for these five, though we know where Ingil will end up. (You know, I wonder if Ingil's attendant as a Reborn was...Ingil? *grin* The Maia certainly liked Reborn and elflings...*cough*GreatPaintIncident*cough*) Author Reply: Hi Kaylee. Yes, Ingil is suffering from spare-itis. Hopefully however they choose and wherever he ends up (whether in Tirion or on the Privy Council), being separated from his twin for a while will help with his sense of inferiority. And unfortunately, as Intarion has learned, we can't choose our parents, but at least he's found an atar indonyo in Nolondur and that makes it better for him. As for the Maia Ingil being one of Ingalaurė's attendants when he comes to Lórien.... that is certainly an interesting idea. *grin* | |
