Now Merry should have known better than thinking his cousin could not make Aragorn smile and laugh! He had me smiling too. What a delight. I suppose I can forgive you even more now. No need to fret over being a formerly favorite cousin since I already have a favorite one from long before but you are second favorite! :) Namarie, God bless, Your bloom who is feeling better now :) Author Reply: Hello Slugger, second-favourite works for me! *beams* Glad Pippin's cheeky turn of phrase cheered you up (he really does remind me of you). Thanks for R & R-ing, Widow Gamgee ;)

LOL!!! That was clever of Pippin and worked very well. Merry however should really know by now how dangerous it can be to wager with Pippin. And, since Pippin used Entish, drabble size would have been far too short ;-) Thanks for the laugh! Author Reply: Hello Andrea, Pippin is a clever wee soul, isn't he? Trust him to pull something like that out of the bag. Poor Merry - no pudding for a week ... Thanks for R & R-ing, M ;)

LOL Bravo to you and to Pippin. Thanks for the smile. Author Reply: Hello Grey WOnderer, I'm thrilled Pippin gave you a giggle (though I believe Merry is still sulking in a corner somewhere ...) *snigger* Thanks for R & R-ing, Kara's Aunty ;)

Perfect to achieve the goal! Hehehehe! Aragorn needed that, I know. Smart Merry, and smarter Pippin! Author Reply: Hello Larner, smart indeed; though methinks Merry underestimated his Tooky cousin just a tad ... But at least Aragorn cheered right up! Thanks for R & R-ing, M ;)

You made *my* lips tilt upwards, as well! Delightful, especially the idea that the hobbits want to bring Aragorn some hobbity cheer. Author Reply: Hello shirebound, bless those hobbits, eh? Even though it's in the form of a wager, they're still only concerned with the cheering up of a friend. Okay, and the stuffing of their faces ... Thanks for R & R-ing, I'm glad you enjoyed it!
