| Ah, I DO love Yew! How wonderful as he becomes the proper dragon of the East, seen as propitious rather than destructive, as caring rather than devouring! And he will earn that hoard he covets! Author Reply: I was glad to have a place to send him where his lot in life can be so different. I have actually wondered for many years why the west has fearsome dragons and the east has helpful ones that bring good luck, so it's been fun to write about it.
