| A lovely way to note this season. Very few fanfic writers deal with Ecthelion; and to see him reach out to his great-grandson and to his favored Captain Thorongil so long after his own death makes for fine storytelling. | A charming tale, and a very tender ghost story. I loved the idea of Aragorn seeing Ecthelion one last time, and finally being able to say goodbye to him. Lovely.
