Wow! What a powerful start. Redemption for all including Melkor. I love the way you portrayed Eru and look forward to reading more. Author Reply: Yes, even Melkor was beloved by Atto, I believe. As for how I portrayed Eru--well, He is more than we can ever fully appreciate. Thanks so much, Tari!

I will have to start reading from the beginning as soon as I finish what I am reading now. I don't think I've read any of it before. I'm so glad to see postings from you. Nothing much seems to be happening since we lost Fiondel. (I still can't believe he's gone and hope the rest of his story will be posted.) I tried to email the moderators, but got no response. I would like to contribute to the cost of keeping SOA on line. Author Reply: It's a mixed series of stories, so I hope you enjoy them. We all miss Fiondil! I don't know if Alassiel and Ellie would need to finish his last story before posting it. I hope they have the chapters as he sent them archived. Author Reply: By the way--this is the third time you've replied to this chapter! Heh!

What a beautiful story of redempton and renewal. I was blown away by the words of wisdom that come from Eru. Had it not been for the posting of your recent chapter, I would have missed this story totally and that would have been a shame. This is AWESOME! Now, on to the next chapter. Author Reply: I am so glad that you like this, Tari. It was wonderful to be able to write this one. Thank you so!

With free will some will choose to use their gifts for evil, and it always seems such a waste and a shame. One longs to see it healed. Author Reply: I do love the thought that this is what will happen--that the Father will bring us back to our original purpose in the end. Thanks so, Aiwen!

Wow!!! I am speechless. This was absolutely amazing. As you stated, Eru can restore all. The way you expressed this fact touched my heart. Excellent, marvelous job!!!! Author Reply: In the time of Remaking, I do believe that Eru would wish to put all back to what it was intended to be, after all. Am so glad you liked it! Thank you so!

Oh, Larner, this is so hopeful and beautiful! What a beneficent view of what The End might be like.... When all find that which was meant for them to love. I especially loved this little bit: Varda’s stars shine the more brightly because they blaze against the dark of night, and the dark of night is the more beautiful because it contains the light of stars within it. What a way to make this stargazer grin and her heart go pitty-pat! Beautifully done, Larner... thank you for sharing it! - Barbara Author Reply: My stepfather was an amateur astronomer, and had two huge telescopes he would break out at times. I lost my fear of the night when I began appreciating how beautiful the stars were, I know. And thank you so for telling me how this made you feel! I am honored, Barbara.

I am honoured Larner. Thank you so very much. This takes a lot of reading and is well worth the effort. One to savour and reread. Author Reply: I'm so glad I could post it here at last. I had started it and didn't get it done for your birthday, and then found it fit perfectly with the theme for the October challenge and finally got it finished and posted. I'm just sorry it didn't get posted on time when I intended to do so. Love to you and your folks and to Jet. Life here is far too--interesting--to find pleasant, I fear.

You seriously need to stop writing these things. That did bring tears to my eyes. How lovely if that were really to happen. Author Reply: To know that something I've written has moved individuals to such emotion is one of the greatest praises I could receive. I do hope it will happen exactly this way! Thank you so, Shemyaza.

Waaah! You made me cry again! It was sooo heart-breaking! But seriously, between two pieces of Kleenex, I had great fun figuring out the identity of the individual characters. ;) For some reason, Denethor was the last one I cold identify, although, in hindsight, the palantír should have been a dead give-away. Author Reply: I made you cry? I'm honored! I would have thought Denethor would be the easiest to recognize, myself. Am pleased he managed to be elusive, then! Heh!

Very interesting and touching story. It's lovely to think of all those conflicts and sorrows finally ending in this way, with reconciliation and love. Author Reply: Oh, I'm so glad you feel that way, Raksha. Yes, time to end the enmities and indeed see all things renewed as they were intended!
