This is a deft little twist to the story, but so subtly presented (no angsty monologues here) that it really shines where I could see it otherwise going a bit awry. I really, really like this one.
Author Reply: I was really surprised when this came into my head, literally right before I was about to shut my son's computer down for the night. I hardly ever get into Frodo's head successfully, so I was both pleased and chilled when these words hit the screen. I'm so glad that you like it. |
