It appears that both rediscover themselves once more, one by accepting the death that is our right as mortals, and the other by accepting life with its uncertainties. Wonderful! Author Reply: Thank you very much for the review, Larner!

Wow- it was so interesting to follow and read their different stories. The Witch-King, and then Éowyn- two completely different beings, but linked in some way. Really good. Thank you for posting! Author Reply: Thank you very much for the review! I'm glad you enjoyed the story! Mirach

What a gorgeous story! Your writing style is very emotional and descriptive and I like the backstory you gave to the Witch King. I thought when I read that scene that were was an unexplored connection between the Ringwraith and Eowyn, since his imprisonment is her greatest fear. I love the way you mix details of both of their memories. Also, you clearly have a lot of knowledge of the books and insight into the characters. Great job. Author Reply: Thank you very much for the review! I believe there is a connection of fate between Eowyn and the Witch-king - otherwise, how would be Glorfindel able to foresee that no man will kill him? Maybe it was given in the threads of the fate, since the moment when the Númenoreal lord met the golden-haire Fréawyn... (although she is just my idea, not a canon character)

A fabulously layered image of these two enemies! The description of the WK's slide into the nebulous state to which his ring brought him is so compelling! And to see two he loved so dearly when he yet lived his own life reflected in Aragorn and Eowyn--that is perfect! Yes, perfect, and how horrible to him, to find that now those who loved him now see him as he has become and loath him instead of honoring him! Alas for him! And I rejoice that Eowyn recognizes that she wishes to be LIKE Aragorn rather than to be WITH him. Excellent! Author Reply: Thank you very much for the review! I'm glad you liked my version of the WK's story! It was very hypothetic, because we know almost nothing about him as a person. I wanted to give him a face that he lost when becoming a Ringwraith...

Wonderful story! You got one of my votes. ;) I like switching POVs, even more because there are no sharp lines; in spite of different parts, it feels like they match smoothly. The atmosphere is so suggestive, ethereal and wonderful, and it almost feel like a poem. Beautifully done. P.s. I recognized you! :) Author Reply: Thank you very much! It's very hard to me to write a story that wouldn't be recognizeable. Maybe I'll try for some next teitho =)
