Yes, kindred spirits indeed! How wonderful to have such tales to tell, and such wonder to share. And the story of the snakes in his room, and the reason for it Pippin suggests--that rings so very true! We have only garter snakes and a large black snake that are proper to our area, neither of which is poisonous, and I used to want to keep one as a pet, an endeavor I would have hated as I also love the critters they eat. But more than once I was able to get to my mother by bringing in a snake and showing it to her casually, knowing that if taken by surprise she'd shriek. Seems that she shared Boromir's antipathy toward snakes! Heh! Author Reply: Lol, I'm not overly fond of snakes myself but I think spiders are much worse! Thank you so much for your comments, Bonnie, I'm very happy to know you enjoyed my story.

Kindred spirits indeed! But what I liked most was this line: “If you were about to leave he probably wanted to get your attention. He was thinking about how much he would miss you, I imagine.” Pippin obviously speaks out of his own experience. I can imagine Pippin playing a prank on Merry or Frodo for the same reason. In that respect Pippin and Faramir are kindred spirits, too! Author Reply: Yes, I can see the 3 of them as kindred spirits as well. Thanks so much for commenting and I'm very pleased you liked my little tale!!

I just love this story. I always enjoy it when the Fellowship members learn more about one another, and your dialogue is just delightful. Author Reply: Thank you Shirebound! I'm glad you found the dialogue realistic. Thanks so much for reading!! *Hugs*
