| I have been loving every chapter of this tale. I am relieved that they made it back to Arda and Elwing's tower, and a bit surprised that the Elder King did not know more about Eonwe's battle and foes. But Eonwe and Earendil are both in good hands now and, once they recover - when they recover - they will once again be able to fly. I loved the Powers gathering to rebuild Vingilot - lovely imagery there. Looking forward to the next chapter(s). - Erulisse (one L) Author Reply: Thank you very much! Manwe usually can see everything, (when sitting with Varda on Taniqetil), but through one substance he can't see - the Unlight. That's how Melkor managed to get to the Trees with Ungoliant, and escape after killing them, veiled in her webs of Unlight. And that's why he was so worried for Eonwe, also... And there is only one chapter left until the end of the tale *sigh* | |

| YAY!! New chapter!! Um, yes, I did want Eonwe to collapse, and well he almost did....I loved the part between Eonwe and Manwe, that was just amazing, and I'm going to go re-read it as soon as I'm done reviewing. That Manwe and the others did so much work on Vlingot was quite interesting, and really showed how much they care about Earendil, and, as an extension, Middle Earth. Well, the Silmaril is safe, Ungoliant is dead, Eonwe is sleeping, Vlingot is fixed but Earendil is not, and all Middle Earth is worrying that Gil-estel is gone. *grin* Great chapter! Author Reply: Thank you! Personally, I loved that part too :D And yes, everything is fixed already besides the Mariner... One more chapter ;) | |
