Loving companionship indeed, not just in spouses chosen, but between the two men here also. Their loving relationship begins from the Call back from death and Faramir's waking words and must have only deepened. And how nice that Aragorn would wish him the same joy he was to know. Namarie, God bless, Antane :) Author Reply: Aragorn has come to his own bliss--how much he must have wished for this to be shared with the one he thought of as a younger brother, or perhaps as a son, and definitely a friend!

Can I just say Awwwwwww!? You know I love Faramir/Aragorn friendship scenes, and this is so perfect. It figures that Aragorn would want to spread the happiness around on his wedding day, and also be concerned with Faramir as his Steward and former patient... Author Reply: Actually, this was set on the day on which Eowyn and Faramir were handfasted in Meduseld, so I think particularly on this day Aragorn would be wishing them especially well! Am so glad it pleases you so!

the comfort of loving companionship with one fully worthy of your affections, and who finds in you the same That is bliss, indeed! Even more so when we remember the situation in which those two found each other, when the world nearly came to an end. Author Reply: That is so true, Andrea--they each accepted only at the moment when all might indeed be lost that they loved one another; now it is time to rejoice in that love!

What a great moment between Aragorn and Faramir! I can just see this happening! Sighs happily.......and I know that their bond only grew stronger through the years! Will we see a similar scene between Arwen and Eowyn? I love your vignettes! :) Author Reply: I'm so glad it hits the right spot with you, Teresa, and I agree about the bond of mutual trust and friendship that will grow between them. Don't know if there will be a similar scene between Arwen and Eowyn--we'll have to see what the future brings, I suppose.
