| What a neat story for us to be able to experience the eclipse also! Love about Sam always being able to see the beauty in things. I think that's one of the reasons he can keep on loving his master on the Quest - because he can always see that beauty even the Ring tries to destroy it. | We could see some of the eclipse the other night, but we had wind and clouds and couldn't see quite everything. They can be wonderful! Love Sam's reaction! Author Reply: We couldn't see it at all, but I'm glad Frodo and Sam did! Sam is such a darling. ;) Glad you enjoyed this! | |

| Thank you for letting us experience this wonderful treat! Dear Gandalf, making sure 'his' hobbits didn't miss such a glorious event. And your Sam is such a dear. If we couldn't see the eclipse in person (and it's *still* raining!), seeing it with the hobbits is definitely the next best thing. *hugs you* Author Reply: You're welcome, dear!
