| I love all these! I did pottery myself when I was thirteen and fourteen, during the turbulent time when everything about life was over-the-top wonderful or horrible, and even though I was never good at or fond of the wheel because I liked sculpting better, it was a wonderful thing to feel a figure form under my hands, rough and disproportionate as most of them were. The craft suits impetuous Pippin wonderfully. I was alternately touched and amused by these drabbles. And now I find myself remembering a project of my own when I labored for hours over a sculpture of the four Hobbits standing together. Oh, and now we know why it's called slip! :D Author Reply: Am so glad you enjoyed this, my Lady. And I hope one day to make my own attempt at reproducing Ruvemir's monument. | At last done with this series too! This has been sweet and I especially liked how 'grown up' Pippin was acting, showing Frodo around the place and explaining things.
