Ah, but he needs now to rise and sail once more, even if at first he needs one by him to teach him how to read the winds of heaven and to set his course. Love the finch waking Eonwe! And Elros and his family wait.... Author Reply: Yes, you are right... The next chapter will reveal that. And I'm glad you like the finch, that little birdie has success with it's few seconds entrance, it seems :)

Oh, poor Earendil. I have horrible vision, but I can't imagine being blind. I'm assuming that the last scene is in the future, because I don't think they slept for weeks. I hope you have a scene where Earendil can see his new grandson. :) After all, he'll have to wait for a good while until Elrond has children. I must admit that the idea of Eonwe freaking out waking up in darkness has caught hold of my imagination, I'm trying to figure out just how much damage a panicking maia could cause. The finch made me laugh, a smug little bird, isn't it? Ah, well, as depressing as it is that the story will be done, I can't wait for the next chapter! Author Reply: Yes, the last scene is a few weeks later, and those weeks will be covered in the next chapter. And it's true that Elrond is not even married yet, and he won't be for some time ;) The damage caoused by a panicking maia depends of the fact if there is some non-panicking Vala around. I'm glad you like the finch, it seems the birdie has success with its few seconds entrance :D
