Hmm, I'm not sure Ingalaure will get what he wants from Ingoldo. Ingoldo seems to me to be the person that doesn't give up. And if he just does it to spite Ingalaure. Ingalaure better be careful. Ingoldo might have an ace up his sleeve. These elves (at least Ingalaure) are still pretty inexperienced in the kind of devious games Ingoldo seems to play. Author Reply: As to that, obsidianj, we will see shortly whether Ingalaurë gets what he wants out of Ingoldo. You are correct that Ingalaurë is very inexperienced and isn't as clever as he may think he is where his uncle is concerned. How this all ends will be shown soon enough. Good to see that the Valar are willing to help in other ways. I did like Ingalure's little contre tempes,(think I got that right, third form French was a couple of yen ago!:) with Ingil. It contrasted nicely with his 'little chat' with Ratty later. I don't think Ingalure is an ellon I would like to have angry with me, especially when it comes to memebers of his family, he would move heaven and Earth to help them and woe betide any one who gets in his way, be they Elf, Edan, Valar or Maia! I could, possibly, begin to feel sorry for Tinwateriel but I think she is as much involved with Ratty's attempted take over as he is. The train is picking up speed, hang on everybody, the bend is in sight! Huggs, Lynda Author Reply: Hi Lynda. The Valar have never stopped helping but are now doing it 'behind the scenes' in some cases so that it looks as if something is happening naturally, such as a storm uprooting a tree. Ingalaurë is definitely not someone to be on the wrong side of, that's for sure. He's taking a page from Ingoldo in ruthlessness, which is a pity, of course, but that's what happens sometimes. Tinwetáriel isn't as clueless or as innocent as she may appear and we see that in Elf, Interrupted. Anyway, the train is indeed picking up speed, as we will shortly see. OMG!!! For sure, Ingalaurë has hardened and become an incredible leader. It made me feel sad, to see such a caring ellon doing those things, but sometimes it is necessary, really, curse Melkor. What a price to pay for the good of his people. I wonder how he can live with his actions, probably it is better for him to die and be reborn, cleaned of such darkness. Author Reply: Hi Fantasia. Yes, Ingalaurë had 'grown up' but not necessarily in a good way. Unfortunately, Ingoldo taught him too well. As you say, it is probably better for him and his family that he dies so he can be cleansed of such darkness. Thanks for reading and reviewing. I appreciate it very much.

It's about time this confrontation happened. I certainly hope Ingalaure takes some guards along on this little walk. Ingoldo is a vicious fool, but still a dangerous one.
