| The fell fire takes so many of those who would fell Morgoth, although at least in the end he was defeated. Moving. Author Reply: The idea came into my mind quite by accident, when I was browsing The Silmarillion. It latched onto my muse and refused to let go; so here was the result. Personally, I am pleased with the double meaning of the idea of "Fell Fire," and that has lent some conviction into the execution. (Ha! I never thought I would admit in public to being pleased about my work...) I am glad you enjoyed the irony. - Rey | |
