and from below as well, from little round windows in the hill on which the Tower stood -- I'd never thought much about the name 'Undertowers.' Obviously you gave it a great deal of thought. Brief as this is, it's one of the best Middle-earth 'creation-stories,' ranking with Pearl Took's "Stories of Our People" and lipstick's "Captain Tinkerbell" (an oldie from ff.net).
