| I'm glad that Elrond let his sons go with him and Erestor as well. They will be a big help and comfort and support along the way. Elrond is so sweet in his comfort and support of the widow and in his practicality of approach to her at this difficult time. That ending was very sad indeed. Poor little guy! Author Reply: I think he will need all the support and his sons are adults after all but to bring condolence is the hardest part and I do not envy him.
