| This was a very entertaining tale, Linda, and one that I'm glad I waited to read until after you completed it, because I was able to read it through in one sitting. I like the humor you wove in here and there--Aragorn's dread that "Denethor" might try to bring him warm milk and sing him a lullaby made me chuckle out loud, as did Arwen's retort that they'd had their child the way all couples have a child (that one made me glad I wasn't drinking anything). But I think the most emotional moment for me came when Arwen and Faramir had to tell Aragorn that his mother and Halbarad were dead. The emotions had to have been so overwhelming at that moment for a man who is completely confused and concussed. It's interesting that loss of emotional control is one of the symptoms of concussion and you used that to good effect. Normally Aragorn probably would never, at his age, "burst into tears", but it serves as a reminder (as if the amnesia weren't enough!) that his head injury really is very serious. I initially thought Arwen's reaction was a little harsh when she thought Aragorn was questioning her virtue, but I suppose she was also under quite a bit of stress, knowing he had been injured, and it was probably the middle of the night and she was not doubt not quite on top of her game, so to speak. So perhaps she can be forgiven for not showing compassion earlier. And of course, the loving way she and Faramir held him as he cried out his grief and confusion gave me all kinds of warm fuzzies. :) Very good story! I'm pleased that you understood that Aragorn's bursting into tears is a deliberate indicator of just how badly the injury has effected him. I don't think Arwen realises that he is lost his memory when she is angry as Aragorn successfully concealed that from Faramir. I'm pleased you enjoyed the h/c scene with Faramir and Arwen. That was one of the new additions to the story. A big thank you for your help with the revisions to the plot.
