Ah--what a wonderful trio of drabbles! Excellent, Linda! Little does Denethor appreciate that Gandalf is turning over everything to Aragorn, and that there is no hint of puppetry anywhere. Elrond loses either way; at least he knows that for the years of Aragorn's life she will be happy. And Aragorn has only joyful anticipation at the moment and appreciation for those whose sacrifices won the victory in the end.
