The escape of the first group was the most creative I've ever read. Too, bad the next group didn't have such an ingenuous plan. Who will rescue them she wonders? Author Reply: I'm glad you think so, Tari. I had fun coming up with Ingwion's plan to get out of the city. We'll see how (or if) the others will be rescued later. Thanks for reading and reviewing. I appreciate it.

Oh, no! I knew something had to happen. It was all going too well ;-). It is kind of depressing reading a story where you know it will get worse before it gets better. The premonitions together with what I know of the general storyline give me shivers. I think it is better not to know what the future will bring. This story gives me an inkling what people with foresight are going through. Not a comfortable place to be. Author Reply: Hi obsidianj. Yes, it was going too well, so naturally something bad had to happen. *grin* Foresight is not something I would like to have; too much of a burden and responsibility and definitely very uncomfortable. Unfortunately, things will get (slightly) worse before they get better, but that's just the way it is. Thanks for reading and reviewing. I really appreciate you taking the time to do so.

Darn! But I suppose it was likely one of the parties might get caught! Author Reply: Oh yes and, of course, Ingalaurė's party would have to be the one to be caught, but all is not lost, as we will shortly see. Thanks for reading and reviewing, Larner!

What did Ingoldo tell the citizenry to make them put up with having their King's younger son not just arrested but assaulted with a club? Author Reply: I imagine he was able to come up wtih something to placate them or perhaps he just had his people intimidate them. And not everyone witnessed the assalt so it can be easily dismissed or covered up. We'll see how Ingalaurė and the others fare soon enough, though. Thanks for reading and reviewing!

I really liked Ingwion's method of being inconspicuous! :-D Uh-oh - I suppose that is how Ingalaure got killed. Whoever did it certainly has something to explain now! I can imagine it: "Uh - I accidentally bashed in the prince's head while he and his mother were trying to escape from his uncle's tender care." And there were certainly a lot of witnesses to this! I expect the story will spread like a wildfire - and hopefully make life ... interesting ... for Ingoldo - who definitely deserves all the "interesting times" and "learning experiences" he can get. Except that he doesn't learn, does he? Author Reply: Hi Sunny. A pity that his brother didn't take a similar approach, then maybe he and the others would have escaped. And no, this is not where Ingalaurė gets killed. That is still to come, but I imagine Ingoldo wasn't too happy to find that his nephew's head had been nearly bashed in by an overly enthusiastic guard. He needs Ingalaurė alive. We'll see how it falls out soon enough. Thanks for reading and reviewing. I quite appreciate it.

Oh! Bad words! Bad Words! Bad Words! (In Quenya, no less!) I never did like Tulcaner, I hope something really nasty happens to him, also The Rat, Ingoldo. I hope Indis and Arminas make it out O.K. Huggs, Lynda Author Reply: Hi Lynda. Well, we'll see eventually what happens to everyone, I promise. Thanks for reading and reviewing. I appreciate it very much.
