A wonderful way to brighten my morning before I head out of town. :) I recommended this (and the rest of the Eclectic Whimsies series) to my friend Susana, by the way. :) I was kept guessing until the end...I didn't even pick up on the Elven connections (well, I figured she was an Elf-clone, but I didn't get which one) I should've known, but you surprised me...really well done! Oh, and I love your Thranduil. | I enjoyed the accomplishments you came up with for Nerys Leilani, particularly the refracted light and the camouflage. I must admit I didn't notice what you were doing with her names at all (there's no way I could have figured out "Leilani," but I should have thought of "Nerwen"). "Keller Bjorn" and "Kelly Brianna" are wonderful. "Prince of the silver screen" made me burst out laughing. You should consider explaining adding that in your footnotes -- at least, I assume you had his Quenya name in mind for part of that. Grumpy Thranduil blaming Gimli.... Author Reply: Yes I did my best to coem up with names that were similar to the meanings of the names of Galadriel and her first family. I wonder if Thranduil ever told Galadriel about her clone when he finally sailed... LOL! Thanks for reading and reviewing! | |
