At least he is still capable of appreciating that comfort at this point. Author Reply: Hello Larner, one of the few things he was capable of appreciating at that point, poor soul. Thank goodness for his Sam, always there with a helping hand and words of comfort. No doubt that helped Frodo remember what he was fighting for - his friends and family, and the Shire, of course. Thanks for R & R-ing, M ;)

That certainly captures the situation. Poor Frodo. Even with Sam -- poor Frodo! Author Reply: Hello eiluj, I knoe. But thank goodness he did have Sam, or I shudder to think of the consequences. Thanks for R & R-ing, m'dear, M ;)

Ah, my dear cousin, one of those I have been waiting for and so wonderfully done here, especially at the end. *hugs* Namarie, God bless, Your happy berry :) Author Reply: Hello again, Cousin! I'm so happy you liked Frodo's drabble - I know how much you adore him and Sam, and I'd have been gutted if it had disappointed you! Thanks for R & R-ing, m'dear, your happy cousin x

This one is simply perfect, especially the last but one sentence which has a very good twist in it. Nothing except his Sam. I so agree! Author Reply: Hello again, m'dear, thanks very much! Sam nust've been a comfort beyond words for Frodo in that dreadful place. Thank goodness he had at least that! Thanks again for R & R-ing, M ;o)
