Ooh--LOVE that you include Deagol--it would be so easy to skip over him, after all! Delightful to see how It captured him so swiftly, no matter how brief Deagol's thralldom! Author Reply: Hello Larner, Déagol absolutely could not e missed. Though he bore it for one of the briefest times, he was instrumental in bringing it back into play as a threat to the West. Glad you enjoyed his drabble! Thanks for R & R-ing, M ;)

Ooh, I think one of them must be Tom Bombadil. As for the other, didn't someone put the ring on a chain while Frodo was unconscious in Rivendell? Author Reply: Hello Silmarien, chapter six is just for you, m'dear. Hope you enjoy it! As for Rivendell, I'm not counting that because no one in particular was mentioned (that I could find). I'm just assuming they sort of prodded it onto the chain without touching it or lifting it, daft as that sounds ... Thanks for R & R-ing, Kara's Aunty ;)

Poor Déagol. I had forgotten he was ever so briefly a Ring-finder and bearer. This is so well done, my dear. Makes me ache for him for what is coming in just moments. Namarie, God bless, Your berry :) Author Reply: Hello sweetie, ah, poor Déagol indeed. So many plans, so little time ... Hopefully the next drabble will lift your spirits a bit! Thanks for R & R-ing, bloom, M ;)

Sauron, Isildur, smeagol, deagol, frodo, sam, bilbo.... who are the other two? Tried hard but could not figure out? Gandalf held it for a little while perhaps? Faramir or Aragorn picked it up at some point?? One of the orcs?? waiting to find out :) Author Reply: Hello Praveen, aha, who indeed? You're really picking your brains aren't you? *chuckles* Glad to know it's got you thinking. As for who the other two are - well, why spoil the fun? But I will tell you that neither of them are Gandalf, Aragorn or Faramir ... Thanks for R & R-ing. Your review really made me smile! Kara's Aunty ;)
