It wasn't easy to write. I didn't know what would fit the prompt (the title of the piece) within the frame of The Silmarillion, but then I thought of Luthien dancing before Melkor's throne... It's like a twisted rendition of the children's tale from which I borrow the prompt; but what's about Melkor -- even in slight relation -- that isn't twisted? :rueful: I'm glad you enjoyed it though!
