| For some reason the term "hobbit-wraith" made me smile. It struck me as decidedly funny, though it not a funny matter at all. Never underestimate the resilience of hobbits, the swiftness of elven horses, and the powers of great elf-lords. :) Beautiful bit of interaction between two of my favorite characters. Author Reply: Hello AzureSkye, *hobbit-wraith* does sound rather amusing, doesn't it - even if it is still a serious matter. Lucky for Frodo that his natural resistance, and Glorfindel and Elrond's (among others) timeous aid prevented us from ever finding out exactly how not funny it is!
