| I hadn't thought of that before - death would be welcome because then he would be with Theodred again - and his wife and sister. It is so stirring to see this in the film, the great courage of these men. Namarie, God bless, Your bloom who enjoyed Treebeard knowing what to do with weeds too. :) Author Reply: Hello Antane, yes. Théoden was strong and courageous - he and all his men. And he didn't have much to lose that day whether he lived or died, as the drabble tries to explain.
