| Quite a difference between the mortals and the fairy-folk, the use of thanks. And I love the idea of her suggesting painting a streak of gold in this unnamed Hobbit's hair, for some reason. Author Reply: I came across that tidbit while researching fairy lore yesterday, and it inspired me.
