| LOL oh dear, poor Faramir. Eomer will be dead when his sister finds out, but until then, I guess he intends to thoroughly enjoy fulfiling his brotherly duties to intimidate/embarass/generally harass his brother-in-law-to-be! | Ooh--do we wish to kill our future brother-in-law? Add to the torture, Eomer! Poor Faramir! Author Reply: More test than kill, of course--Eomer is reasonably assured that Faramir's going to get out of this alive, even if most of his dignity is in shambles by the end. | |

| I am reminded at this point of a certain kind of riding-dress, which Eomer may wish he is wearing at this point. The costume is supplied with a false leg, carefully dressed and booted to match the wearer. The rider appears to be riding sidesaddle, with two neatly clad feet on the proper side, and a great poof of skirt cascadeing on the other (completely covering the real leg neatly stirruped on that side.)This works best with excessively frilly outfits. Eomer better watch out, or Lotheriel will remember this in detail for later (even if she isn't involved with him yet.) Author Reply: Yes, unfortunately, since Faramir isn't a woman, and this whole thing was rather sprung upon him, he doesn't know about the false leg trick. | |
