| What a beautiful gift for Sam; and where is it that fairies go when they diminish to small bubbles of light? Beautiful as we see how the communication is fostered between Frodo and Sam. Author Reply: I'm thinking Petal went back to her original home in Tookland; what more could she give Sam, after making it possible for him to hear Frodo's voice and learn of his doings? Her work was done, and diminishing to a tiny bubble is the quickest way for her to get back home. That's how I see it anyway:) Thanks so much for commenting Larner! ~~~~~{~@ | |
