| So the village has been shut off from the outside world for centuries? Do I even want to consider what effect centuries of inbreeding would have on the people? *considers the posibilities for a moment* Uh ... maybe I don't want to consider the effects, after all. Turning to other thoughts ... based on your story summary, something bad is going to happen that Our Heroes will be accused of. Doing a little a guess work, I suspect Herbenna might be either responsible for the something bad or at least for the accusations against Our Heroes. Of course, the Chief might be responsible as well. But given Belphena's description of Herbenna's resentment to the pair, Herbenna is my number one suspect for the whatever it is that is to come. Typical Legolas .... saying he's fine when he really isn't. It's amazing how often he and Aragorn do that, isn't it? Ooo .... and very curious about the contents of the mithril box and why the contents hiss and make the air chill .....
