I'm glad that Denethor visited Faramir. It is not often that we see his softer part in your stories :) Author Reply: Many thanks for your much appreciated review.I fear I was too influenced by stories I'd read about Denethor when I first started writing my own.

I so rejoice that Denethor chose to see Faramir the second day. And love the comparisons between Faramir and Thorongil. Love the foreshadowing on the return of the King, too! Lovely! Author Reply: Many thanks for your much appreciated review.. I'm so pleased you enjoyed this story and the foreshadowing worked for you .

Very well done! That is Ioreth through and through! And Denethor actually listened to her. In my opinion he always loved both of his sons. But sometimes he needed to be reminded of that. Thank you very much and happy New Year :-) Author Reply: Many thanks for your much appreciated review.. I'm so pleased you enjoyed this story and felt I had captured Ioreth. She is a character I'm fond of. Happy New Year!

What greater honour could there be to surrender a charge that has been faithfully kept? Such a noble man! You write wonderful conversations, and what a joy to see a softening of Denethor's attitude at the end. Happy New Year to you! Author Reply: Many thanks for your much appreciated review..
