I am so glad that someone is helping Pip, but I'm sorry that his friends are still so worried. Nicely done.

oh This is horrible :-( The hobbits, Aragorn, and Legolas think Pippin is dead, and Pippin is blind. Alive, but blind. And scared. But at least he's not alone. I hope his saviours can return him to Elrond's household soon so that the others' anguish won't last too long. Another gripping chapter, Budgielover. I hope to read more soon. LKK

Good think Pippin was found by friendlies! It seems they will take good care of him and hopefully the others won't use too much time looking for him and they can all be reunited in Rivendell. Poor, Pippin! I couldn't imagine loosing my sight! Very frightening! Looking forward to more, thank you so much!

So the strange object was a dragon's tooth. I quite like the way you mix geographical phenomena with fairy objects. But then, you don't spare our heroes aught! Poor Pippin has to suffer a head-injury and has even lost his eye-sight (only temporarily, I hope), and the rest of his walking party are worried sick about him. And though Pippin is safe with that patrol that will take him back to Lord Elrond's care, the others have no chance of finding his body and won't be spared the sorrow until they return to Rivendell as well (that is, unless something foul happens to them until they reach it ...)
