| Conquistadora! The power and vibrancy of this chapter is truly beautiful. Thranduil as you have always written finds a way when his back is against the wall and pushed to find new ways to not only to survive but to thrive! He simply draws upon the will within himself and his extended family to protect his realm and his people without rings to protect. The communing with the forest was a sheer joy to read. The joy and resilience of the Nandor are a wonder. The combined force of his family and Thranduil's sheer force of his will to touch and then harness the lifeforce of the forest in an effort to protect was brilliantly rendered and compelled me to comment on this chapter!
