A profound enough thought to end this story with. At least Aracano has heard the tale at last!

Author Reply: Better late than never, right? And yeah, everything does have its price.

Oh, yay, we finally had (most!) of the Tale of the Sun told! I can't wait to hear the Tale of the Moon...

I don't think I've mentioned before, I love what you're doing to expand story of what is truly a momentous occasion in Middle-Earth's history, but which is passed by so quickly in the Silmarillion itself. And Ilmarë is wonderful, as always. :)

Thank you for sharing this, I'm really looking forward to the next part!

Author Reply: Ilmare rocks, doesn't she? Just wait until she starts with the dirty laundry.*g*

But honestly, most of this stuff is in the Lost Tales. I just rework it to fit the story, add the personal stuff, the discussions and all that, and make it a little more believable. In the original, the story is a lot more detailed, the style is more stilted, and the whole thing is given in one merciless downpour, you see.

Well, finally! Though we still have to hear about the Moon. I think Aracáno was about ready to scream and do terrible things to certain people with all the interruptions and sidetracking that went on. Reborn are not the most patient of people after all. *grin*

Author Reply: Well, he did his fair share of interrupting, too, so he's in no condition to complain, I'd say. Yeah, the Moon is the next part - complete with the gossip about Fionwe's doomed love, unless the muse resists. *g*

Thanks for the review, I really appreciate it.
