| Love the role reversal. Eowyn is still killing the witchking, but it is Pippin and not Merry, who hampers the king. Finally, something goes right for the heroes, although there is still much to do. Let's hope you don't kill anyone off this late in the story. Author Reply: Yes this one felt like they were finally getting somewhere! So much travelling! They will need a rest soon ^_^ | |

| Hooray! A truly stunning chapter. My heart was in my throat the entire time. You were crueler to Pippin than even Tolkien. Love how you change things around and still make the story work. I've still got all my fingers and toes crossed for the safety of the Brothers Mir. I'm very concerned for Froso. As I read more and more of this tale, I realize you can possibly kill off this particular Ringbearer. What's to hold you back? What's to keep you from having Sam throw It into the fires of Mt. Doom. Excellent work. You must be near exhaustion! Author Reply: So glad you enjoyed chapter 48 ^_^ I took a many year long holiday from writing the story so I'm not too exhausted :p but the poor characters didn't get to have a break! They'll get an ending soon though ^_^ | |
