| That is a high compliment indeed, though I'm sure Sam would be embarrassed by it. :) Frodo's learned a trick or two from Pippin, it seems. Can't wait to hear the tale! Author Reply: Sam's always embarrassed by compliments, I think. It's just part of his nature. Frodo knew who the best wheedler in the family was-- he got wheedled often enough himself! | Ah, but she has managed to attract the attention of a Hobbit loremaster of sorts, and I love that he's using Pippin's ploys on her. How he must bring back memories of her own children! Author Reply: Yes, Frodo always wants to know! *grin* I think when Frodo was small, his own ploys were probably much like Pippin's! I always think that their natural personalities were very similar, only Frodo's was tempered by the loss of his parents at first, and by the Ring later on. I'm sure he does remind her of her own children! | |
