| A well-handled encounter with the Tatyai, snobbish as they proved themselves. Haldir's skills as a march-warden came into excellent use, and he's let the others realize that these Galadhrim are as sophisticated as they are in their own way. Gilwen has excellent reason to be pleased with her husband. Author Reply: Haldir has had enough experience in Lorien that he can handle just about anything that crosses his borders - dwarves, evil rings of power, arrogant kin of the Noldor...LOL! | So, Celos Galen is home. Sounds... bitter-sweet, I'd say. I bet those Noldor were still surprised for a looooong time after the encounter! :D Author Reply: It is bitter-sweet, but the six at least have the potential for a happiness they never knew in Lorien. | I may be naive, but I'm glad the road so far has been pleasant. I like these warriors and their wives to have some time of peace. I know it won't last long, but there you are. And it was good to see pre-Noldor *g* put down a peg. Author Reply: The guys needed and much deserved some down time and to have things go right for a change. Their wives deserved this as well for putting up with Hal and company in their stressed states for so long. I think Haldir had a lot of fun putting that group of Tatyai in their place.
