| Wow! How awesome to meet Lord Ulmo in person and receive his blessings. Haldir should be on cloud nine so to speak. Author Reply: Given the circumstances, I think Haldir was just plain relieved to have some good news at last. I apologize for the delay in my review replies. I was hit far harder than expected by Fiondil's passing and then I fell and broke my shoulder and injured my wrist a few days ago. Sometimes life sucks and then gets complicated. ACK! | Beautifully, and heart-breakingly, written. How terrible for all those concerned, but mostly for Haldir. I do so hope Handir will recover. That should help relieve some of his father's sorrow. And Lord Ulmo. Great moment. Though I wish the Belain could teach ME how to skip a stone 27 times! Author Reply: It had to be difficult for all involved and and especially for Haldir. My stone skipping record is 8 times I think. It would be cool to see Ulmo skipping stones. Thanks for reading and reviewing! | |

| Oh, I LOVE the one who comes to straighten Haldir out! And love the skipping stones, and the fish treats! Who else would know where to find truly flat stones perfect for skipping and would carry fish treats (and possibly Elf treats as well!) on his person! The description is perfect! Excellent! | Not so much fun at the beginning, but much fun at the end! I loooved your Ulmo (and his skill at stone-skipping). And things are looking up. And they're going to Doriath and safety -- and it looks as if I don't have to worry whether they get there (thank you for that). And thank you also that none of the wives have had miscarriages and none of the family's kids have been lost. Now I just have to figure out what Doom Adar has planned for Haldir....
