Alas that he has fallen to the temptation! Excellent! Author Reply: Thanks Larner! Then again, if he had burned the book, it might have caused an explosion that would have killed everyone in the castle...just a thought....

Great tale, my dear - how deceptive is the deceiver and Rimbrion was almost free. Really does call for more you know. Namarie, God bless, Antane :) Author Reply: Thanks Antane! Well, I thought of extending it, to show what happened afterward. I thought Luthien might have steered him toward the light, but she was too busy, too preoccupied with caring for the prisoners and too wrapped up in her lover to realize what was going on with him. And so he was left to his own devices, and the book would complete his "orcization". Had the book been destroyed, Sauron would not have been able to make the Ring. It was a volume authored by Melkor, his Necronomicon (if you are familiar with Lovecraft's work, you know what that is). On the other hand, Rimbrion might well have saved Luthien from its influence by removing it from the castle. Thanks again for commenting! I much value your feedback. ~~~~{~@
