If Adamanta's so beautiful when she's angry, no wonder they have 12 kids...the making up after the fight must be interesting. *snicker* I love Gandalf here, though! :) More Gandalf soon would be good - especially to see what exactly those nobles ask of him for their sons... | LOL! I loved that last line immensely. I would suppose that Adamanta spent a lot of time being upset with her husband...that might account for the twelve children...I am guessing that Gerontius could be quite er, creative, in calming her down. This was delightful. I especially loved Gandalf's line about making a point of not blessing the babies of those who asked, and his answer to the question about babies listening! Please forgive me for going straight to my own mathom first! I may not get to the rest before tomorrow. But they all look intriguing! Author Reply: No forgiveness necessary! I'm glad you enjoyed the fic so much, and honestly, I had not considered Gerontius' methods of winning her over! *wicked grin* And no, I can't see Gandalf doing any favors for fame-seekers, either! | |
