What a peaceful afternoon. I'm waiting for the catastrophe that is bound to happen sooner or later *g* Author Reply: You know me far too well! ;-D

I put off reading this tale until I could read several chapters at once, not wanting to get caught in a suspense bind...but thats exactly what happened! I keep thinking of Shakespear's "Comedy of Errors", as the web Lothariel keeps weaving gets more and more tangled. I am so looking forward to the reveal! But I also find I am not eager for the story to end. Its one of the most enjoyable tales Ive read lately. More, please!

I'm afraid I like torturing my characters (and my readers) a little. And you're right, it has turned into a bit of a comedy of errors with all the misunderstandings and mistaken identities. Thank you for your kind words and I promise to update as regularly as possible! Lia

Giggles - the antlion's description sounds vaguely familiar! As for the Art of War - one of my fav books. Really delightful chapter. They are cursed, I thick! Author Reply: Hello Agape, yes, one has to be careful around antlions! ;-D As for the Art of War, I can see Ivriniel putting those lessons into practise with great gusto. Thanks for reviewing! I've just sat and read all that's posted so far in one sitting - your story is stunning. It flows well, it's beautifully written, and it's completely entrancing. I love the increasing complications of Lothíriel's guise, and the subtle - and not-so-subtle - hints of her and Eomer's quickly increasing falling for one another (I'm also cheering for Ivriniel and Ealdred, because that's just so lovely). And the culture differences between Rohan and Gondor are simply genius. It adds another level of subtext - such as the instance with the belt. Can't wait for your update! Author Reply: Hello Imladris, thank you so much for your kind words, I'm really pleased to hear you enjoy the story! Ivriniel has been growing on me, so I thought she deserved a bit of happiness as well, since Eomer and Lothiriel will (eventually) get their happy end. As for the cultural differences between Rohan and Gondor, I really like playing with that, it's a lot of fun. Thanks for reviewing! Lia

They are both properly smitten, as appear to be Ivriniel and Eomer's counselor. And he thinks she's not highly enough born? Heh! I'm sorry for the flamingos, but the feathers indeed ought to prove popular in Rohan! And he's thinking of giving her one of the mearas, one named "Ant," while she's sketching antlions? Okay.... Author Reply: Hello Larner, yes, the animal kingdom seems to have taken over this chapter a bit, but I thought it suited this Lothiriel (there's actually a bit of myself in her there). But of course nothing will come of it, as Gliwen's birth is just too low ;-D Thanks for reviewing! Lia

It is obvious these two are falling in love, but how will Lothriel reveal the truth? An enjoyable chapter. Author Reply: Hello Linda, of course it's only getting more difficult for Lothiriel to reveal the truth. I feel sorry for her myself! Thanks for reviewing Lia

Oh. my. goodness! Just when you think the tension can't go any higher!!! I can't wait to see what you have cooked up for the big reveal for these two. I'm sure the fireworks will be spectacular. And yes, I did find my own personal Eomer - a good, honorable man with a bit of a temper who always seems to find a way around "no" (his nickname is "The Golden Child"), is very strategic and not above the rare deception (I didn't realize our first date was actually a date, and then didn't realize until two years later that the premise for the date was actually a ruse! The man is good...) So you see, I have a great deal of empathy for your Lotheriel! But it was all in good cause - we've been married for a very happy 20 years, and he still keeps me off balance. :-) Author Reply: Hello Lyana, you'll probably be right about the fireworks ;-) And I love the idea of your not realizing how you were 'set up' for your first date - almost like something to turn into a story ;-D Your husband sounds a lot like my idea of Éomer. Oh! OH! A certain princess is digging a very deep hole for herself.Of course brother and aunt are not helping either.I wonder what will happen when Eomer and Imrahil find out. I want to know and at the same time don't want to know. Can't wait for the next chapter.LOL Galathil Author Reply: Hello Galathil, I have to admit I quite enjoy drawing out the agony of watching poor Lothiriel dig that hole (diligently assisted by her loving family), but of course the truth will have to come out quite soon.
