| A lovely chapter. I loved the way Eomer handles his people and is handled by them. The easy love and respect between them. And that scene with the horses was just gorgeous. How they showed up out of the mist and the understanding they have. Just great. Author Reply: Thanks! | I am a bad reviewer. I have read most, if not all, of your Lothloriel stories, and I love them. But this particular chapter inspired me to finally review. I loved the scene with the horses. They were such strong characters in such a short space. From the ones that were the lords and ladies to even the little colts peeking out to look at the people. That was such a well done scene. | So many lovely parts to this chapter! Their ease and synchronicity now that the air is cleared, the way Hild and the others have him so managed while giving him great respect and a fierce loyalty, the hopefulness of the people... And I don't think I've ever read such a wonderfully written interlude between a Lord of the Mark and the Mearas.
