That blow-up was long in coming. Dividing the groups was such a nice idea as long as it lasted. Now to make amends and rescue the rest of the group. Maybe after this experience they come to a better understanding. Haldir showed remarkable restraint with his son... Author Reply: Yes, the blow-up was inevitable. I think Haldir showed restraint with his son because Mablung was being just as bad and frequently provoked Taurion, too. We can hope they will understand each other better after all of this. They just have to get through this first... Thank you for reading and reviewing!

And sending them off seemed like such a good idea at the time, eh? What a cliffhanger! Another great chapter, I'm on the edge of my seat. Author Reply: Thanks! I'm sure they were probably thinking, "Yes, please. Go get lost in the forest." they just weren't expecting the potential consequences. LOL! Go pop some popcorn in preparation for the rescue chapter. It makes the edge of the seat more comfortable :-) Thank you for reading and reviewing!

Oh dear - what a cliffie! So Taurion was the first on the scene and immediately started to do his very best to heal the despised Doriathrin ellon, who, moreover, is the son of his nemesis Mablung. And the Doriathrin would-be warriors are getting a first-hand experience of just what a warrior's job is. I suspect there will be much less sniping (from both sides) after this. But I also suspect that nothing less than this would serve to weld the Galadhrim and the Sindar together, and teach proper respect to all. Author Reply: Sometimes the real world is a scary place and Menegroth provides such a nice sheltered life...Who would have thought? Lots of people get to learn some lessons this time around and we can only hope that the right people learn the right lessons. Nothing else was working to try to get them to get along with each other. Poor Haldir! Thanks for reading and reviewing!

Now at last the lessons must be put into play, and they will most likely find the peace and respect for one another that Haldir has tried to instill for so long. Mablung has a lot of pride to swallow, it appears, as does Taurion. Author Reply: One would hope that they will find peace and respect for one another. It just might be a feast with humble pie all around and a healthy swig of pride to wash it all down. LOL! Thanks for reading and reviewing!
